Terms of service

Nodrik is operated by Thoughtgears Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom. These terms apply when you use it. Last updated 15 September 2026.

Accepting these terms

You accept these terms by creating an account. Nobody signs anything and nobody negotiates them, so they are written to be read in full in a few minutes rather than skimmed. If your organisation needs something different, email us before you subscribe.

What Nodrik does

When an alert fires in a Google Cloud project you have connected, Nodrik reads the relevant logs, metrics, recent changes and — if you connect it — your repository metadata, and posts what it found to Slack with a hypothesis about the cause.

Nodrik saves you investigation time; it does not resolve incidents. Its hypothesis may be wrong. Everything it produces is a starting point for a human, and the evidence it shows is the part you should rely on. You remain responsible for diagnosing and fixing your own systems.

What Nodrik will never do

Tools you connect yourself

Nodrik lets you point it at your own tools — an MCP server or an endpoint you host. If you do, that tool is yours and calling it is the whole of what we do with it.

Your responsibilities

Availability

Nodrik is provided without a service level agreement. We would rather say that plainly than publish a number we have not earned the operating history to stand behind.

If Nodrik is unavailable when an alert fires, that investigation does not happen — and your own alerting is unaffected, because Nodrik is a notification channel and never sits in the path of your monitoring. That is the deliberate reason an outage here cannot become an outage there.

Subscription and fees

Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel at any time from the billing portal in your console. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for — Nodrik keeps working until then, and you are not billed again.

We do not give partial refunds for an unused part of a month. If Nodrik was materially broken for a sustained period and you tell us, we will sort it out; we would rather fix that case by talking to you than by writing a clause that pretends to anticipate it.

Your data

What we process, where it goes, who else touches it and what happens when you leave are set out in the data processing agreement, which forms part of these terms and which you accept alongside them. The privacy policy covers data we hold about you as a customer rather than data we process on your behalf.

Liability

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, and because Nodrik is advisory rather than operational, Thoughtgears Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss arising from action taken on a suggestion Nodrik made. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.

Ending it

Cancelling stops the billing. Removing Nodrik removes the access, and the two are separate on purpose: revoke the four role grants and delete the notification channel in your project, and remove the app from Slack. Nothing of ours remains in your infrastructure, and you do not need us to do it for you.

On our side, we delete your tenant — the service account that could read your projects, your stored credentials, and your investigation history — within 30 days, as set out in thedata processing agreement.

We may end an account with reasonable notice, or immediately if it is used unlawfully. If we end it for any reason other than misuse, we refund the unused part of the period.

Changes

We will update these terms as Nodrik changes. Material changes will be notified to the email on your account before they take effect.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
